Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask about who we are and how we work.

Which film brand do you actually recommend?

Defcon is our first recommendation on most cars. Its gloss and satin films carry ten year manufacturer warranties against yellowing, cracking and peeling, and the brand is supported here in Australia. STEK stays on the shelf, also warranted for ten years, for cars and panels where its finish or thickness suits better. The choice is still fit for the job, not brand loyalty.

Can I buy these products over the counter?

The films and coatings here are professional install products. What we sell is the fitted result, warrantied in writing on your car.

Do product warranties survive if I sell the car?

Film warranties are registered against the vehicle, so they transfer with it. A protected car with paperwork reads better in any listing.

Ceramic or graphene, how do I choose?

Read both guides, then let the warranty terms decide rather than the label. We fit what holds up, and we will say plainly what we would put on our own car.
