PPF Mount Eliza

PPF near Mount Eliza

Liquid R serves Mount Eliza and the rest of Melbourne’s south east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 46.9 km away and roughly 50 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Most drivers start with a full front: bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, fitted from patterns cut for the exact model so no blade touches the paint. Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first and STEK second, and both are warranted in writing.

Customers from Mount Eliza pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Headlight Film from $180

Polycarbonate headlight lenses yellow and pit, and a modern headlight unit can cost more than a full front of film. Precut clear film keeps them clear and goes on in under an hour while you wait.

PPF or Ceramic Coating

Film stops stone chips. A ceramic coating makes the car easier to wash and holds the gloss, but does nothing against impacts. Plenty of owners run film on the front and a coating over the rest. Our PPF vs ceramic coating guide compares them.

Near the Water

Cars kept close to the bay in Mount Eliza collect salt and sand on every drive. Clear film takes the abrasion on the front and sills, and it is far cheaper to refresh than paint.

Satin and Stealth PPF

Satin film turns gloss paint into a satin finish without changing the colour, and it protects factory matte paint that can never be polished. The film takes the scratches and heals light marks, so the finish stays even.

Films We Fit

Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first, with STEK as our second range. STEK DYNO films carry a ten year warranty against yellowing, bubbling, cracking and delamination.

Why Customers Come to Us

We have no branch out near Mount Eliza, only our Mitcham workshop. If the drive suits you, the work is done indoors by staff who do this every day, and the booking is planned around a single trip. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. From Mount Eliza, most people bundle work into one visit: tint with a detail, or film with a coating, so the car only makes the trip once. We confirm the timing when you book.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Mount Eliza?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 46.9 km from Mount Eliza, roughly 50 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Mount Eliza?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Is PPF worth it?

For cars that do freeway kilometres, usually yes. One repainted bumper costs more than a wear and tear pack.

Can PPF go on a used car?

Yes. The paint is decontaminated and machine polished where needed first, then filmed.
