PPF Keysborough

PPF Keysborough: Fitted in Mitcham

Liquid R serves Keysborough and the rest of Melbourne’s south east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 25 km away and roughly 30 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Most drivers start with a full front: bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, fitted from patterns cut for the exact model so no blade touches the paint. Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first and STEK second, and both are warranted in writing.

Customers from Keysborough pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Keysborough

From Keysborough the workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 25 km away, roughly 30 minutes via EastLink outside peak hour. There is parking on site and a bay booked for your arrival. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

Paint protection film being trimmed on a panel

Full Body PPF at $5980

Every painted panel in clear film, so doors, sills and the rear bumper get what the nose gets. It suits new deliveries, expensive factory colours and cars you plan to keep. Allow about a week.

Paint protection film being sprayed and laid on a red Audi

Full Front PPF from $1980

Bonnet, front bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, about two days in the workshop. Freeway gravel lands almost entirely on the front third of a car, which is why most daily drivers stop here.

Freeway Kilometres on EastLink

Coming from Keysborough usually means time on EastLink. Sitting behind traffic at freeway speed is the classic recipe for a chipped bonnet edge and a pitted bumper, which is why a full front is where most commuters start.

Technician plotting a precut paint protection film pattern on screen

Precut Patterns, No Blades on Paint

Film patterns are plotter cut for your exact make and model before the film touches the car, so no blade runs across your paint. Edges are wrapped rather than trimmed short, which is why they do not lift at the car wash later. Every PPF wrap is finished this way.

Wear and Tear Pack from $380

Door cups, door edges and the boot ledge pick up marks on every car, however carefully it is driven. This pack covers them in clear film and is the cheapest way to keep a car looking looked after at trade-in.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Keysborough shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because PPF needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. For Keysborough customers we line up drop-off and pickup times when you book, so you know exactly which days the car is with us. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

PPF on Utes, 4WDs and EVs

Utes get film on tray rails and tailgate edges, 4WD tourers get thicker Bushwrapz film, and electric cars with soft factory paint often go straight to full body film. Glass roofs can take Crystal Shield from $350.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Keysborough?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 25 km from Keysborough, roughly 30 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Keysborough customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Should I get PPF or a ceramic coating?

Film stops stone chips and a coating makes the car easier to keep clean. Many owners do film on the front and a coating over the rest.

Does PPF damage the paint when it comes off?

No. Professionally removed film releases with heat and leaves factory paint as it was when covered.
