PPF Mordialloc

PPF Mordialloc: Fitted in Mitcham

Liquid R serves Mordialloc and the rest of Melbourne’s south east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 33.1 km away and roughly 40 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

The film is a clear urethane layer with a self-healing top coat, so light scratches relax out in the sun. We fit it in our own indoor bays, with the maker’s warranty on the film and ours on the installation, plus a free check in the first month.

Customers from Mordialloc pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Mordialloc to Mitcham

Coating Over the Film

A ceramic layer applied over the film in the same booking costs $650. Water sheets off, road grime releases with less scrubbing, and the film keeps its gloss between washes.

Paint protection film being trimmed on a panel

Full Body PPF at $5980

Every painted panel in clear film, so doors, sills and the rear bumper get what the nose gets. It suits new deliveries, expensive factory colours and cars you plan to keep. Allow about a week.

Near the Water

Cars kept close to the bay in Mordialloc collect salt and sand on every drive. Clear film takes the abrasion on the front and sills, and it is far cheaper to refresh than paint.

Headlight protection film being fitted to a red Audi

Headlight Film from $180

Polycarbonate headlight lenses yellow and pit, and a modern headlight unit can cost more than a full front of film. Precut clear film keeps them clear and goes on in under an hour while you wait.

Front end of a Hyundai Santa Fe

Full Front PPF from $1980

Bonnet, front bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, about two days in the workshop. Freeway gravel lands almost entirely on the front third of a car, which is why most daily drivers stop here.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

Liquid R has one workshop, in Mitcham, and it is a fair drive from Mordialloc. Customers make the trip because the work is done indoors by our own team rather than in a driveway, and we plan the booking so it takes one visit, not several. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. From Mordialloc, most people bundle work into one visit: tint with a detail, or film with a coating, so the car only makes the trip once. We confirm the timing when you book.

Satin and Stealth PPF

Satin film turns gloss paint into a satin finish without changing the colour, and it protects factory matte paint that can never be polished. The film takes the scratches and heals light marks, so the finish stays even.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Mordialloc?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 33.1 km from Mordialloc, roughly 40 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Mordialloc customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can PPF go on a used car?

Yes. The paint is decontaminated and machine polished where needed first, then filmed.

Can you see PPF once it is fitted?

Clear gloss film is very hard to spot because edges are wrapped and patterns are cut for the model.
