PPF Tarneit

PPF near Tarneit

Liquid R serves Tarneit and the rest of Melbourne’s west from one workshop in Mitcham, about 51.5 km away and roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

The film is a clear urethane layer with a self-healing top coat, so light scratches relax out in the sun. We fit it in our own indoor bays, with the maker’s warranty on the film and ours on the installation, plus a free check in the first month.

Customers from Tarneit pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

How Self-Healing Film Works

PPF is urethane with an elastic top coat, one of the products and technologies we work with. Light scratches and wash marks sit in that top layer, and warmth from the sun or warm water relaxes them back out. A cut through the film is the damage that would otherwise have been in your paint.

Two Warranties, Both in Writing

The film maker covers the film against yellowing, cracking and delamination, and we cover the installation. Both are handed over at pickup with care instructions, so you know who stands behind what.

Gravel and Trucks

Around Tarneit, construction traffic and fresh road surfaces throw up loose stones. Front end film from $1980 takes those hits, and headlight film from $180 keeps the lenses from pitting.

Film on a New Car First

Film bonds best to paint that has never seen a freeway, so the ideal booking is straight from the dealer. We photograph any delivery defects before covering them, and new car packages bundle film with coating and tint.

Precut Patterns, No Blades on Paint

Film patterns are plotter cut for your exact make and model before the film touches the car, so no blade runs across your paint. Edges are wrapped rather than trimmed short, which is why they do not lift at the car wash later. Every PPF wrap is finished this way.

Why Customers Come to Us

Liquid R has one workshop, in Mitcham, and it is a fair drive from Tarneit. Customers make the trip because the work is done indoors by our own team rather than in a driveway, and we plan the booking so it takes one visit, not several. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. Coming from Tarneit, it makes sense to combine jobs, such as film and coating, or a detail with tint, into one booking so the drive happens once. We confirm the timing when you book.

Ceramic coating being applied with an applicator block

Coating Over the Film

A ceramic layer applied over the film in the same booking costs $650. Water sheets off, road grime releases with less scrubbing, and the film keeps its gloss between washes.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Tarneit?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 51.5 km from Tarneit, roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Tarneit customers pay the same price?

Yes. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Should I get PPF or a ceramic coating?

Film stops stone chips and a coating makes the car easier to keep clean. Many owners do film on the front and a coating over the rest.

Can PPF go on a used car?

Yes. The paint is decontaminated and machine polished where needed first, then filmed.
