PPF Point Cook

PPF for Point Cook Drivers

Looking for PPF near Point Cook? Liquid R is about 53.1 km away in Mitcham, roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

The film is a clear urethane layer with a self-healing top coat, so light scratches relax out in the sun. We fit it in our own indoor bays, with the maker’s warranty on the film and ours on the installation, plus a free check in the first month.

Every quote is a fixed figure before the car is booked, and it is the same whichever suburb you come from. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Point Cook

Allow roughly 65 minutes from Point Cook outside peak hour. The route is about 53.1 km via West Gate Freeway and Princes Freeway, ending at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham, where there is parking out the front. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

Paint protection film being trimmed on a panel

Full Body PPF at $5980

Every painted panel in clear film, so doors, sills and the rear bumper get what the nose gets. It suits new deliveries, expensive factory colours and cars you plan to keep. Allow about a week.

Wash mitt on a soapy panel

Washing a Filmed Car

pH neutral shampoo, a soft mitt, no brush car washes, and keep the pressure washer a hand span from film edges. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly, and stubborn water spots come out at our counter in minutes. The full routine is on our aftercare page.

Machine polishing a black car during paint correction

Salt Air and Paint in Point Cook

Salt air near the bay leaves a film on paint that turns gritty as it dries, and every wash then drags it across the surface. Film takes that wear instead of the clear coat, and a ceramic layer on top keeps it rinsing clean.

Technician plotting a precut paint protection film pattern on screen

Precut Patterns, No Blades on Paint

Film patterns are plotter cut for your exact make and model before the film touches the car, so no blade runs across your paint. Edges are wrapped rather than trimmed short, which is why they do not lift at the car wash later. Every PPF wrap is finished this way.

Free Check in the First Month

Every film job includes a free inspection in the first month to look over the edges, and we suggest a yearly check after that. Booking it takes a phone call.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We have no branch out near Point Cook, only our Mitcham workshop. If the drive suits you, the work is done indoors by staff who do this every day, and the booking is planned around a single trip. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Headlight protection film being fitted to a red Audi

How Long the Car Stays

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. Because of the distance, we plan the work so the car needs one drop-off and one pickup, even when several jobs are booked together. We confirm the timing when you book.

Ceramic coating being applied with an applicator block

Coating Over the Film

A ceramic layer applied over the film in the same booking costs $650. Water sheets off, road grime releases with less scrubbing, and the film keeps its gloss between washes.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Point Cook?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 53.1 km from Point Cook, roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Point Cook?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can PPF go on a used car?

Yes. The paint is decontaminated and machine polished where needed first, then filmed.

Is PPF worth it?

For cars that do freeway kilometres, usually yes. One repainted bumper costs more than a wear and tear pack.
