PPF Hoppers Crossing

PPF Hoppers Crossing: Fitted in Mitcham

Liquid R serves Hoppers Crossing and the rest of Melbourne’s west from one workshop in Mitcham, about 53 km away and roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

The film is a clear urethane layer with a self-healing top coat, so light scratches relax out in the sun. We fit it in our own indoor bays, with the maker’s warranty on the film and ours on the installation, plus a free check in the first month.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Getting Here from Hoppers Crossing

Allow roughly 65 minutes from Hoppers Crossing outside peak hour. The route is about 53 km via West Gate Freeway and Princes Freeway, ending at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham, where there is parking out the front. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

PPF or Ceramic Coating

Film stops stone chips. A ceramic coating makes the car easier to wash and holds the gloss, but does nothing against impacts. Plenty of owners run film on the front and a coating over the rest. Our PPF vs ceramic coating guide compares them.

Two Warranties, Both in Writing

The film maker covers the film against yellowing, cracking and delamination, and we cover the installation. Both are handed over at pickup with care instructions, so you know who stands behind what.

New Estates and Roadworks

Areas with new estates often have roadworks, trucks and loose gravel on the road. That is exactly what chips a bonnet edge, and front end film from $1980 is the fix that lasts.

Edges Wrapped, Not Cut Short

The edge is the weak point of any film job. Where the panel allows it, film is wrapped around the edge and finished out of sight, so there is no line to see and nothing for a pressure washer to lift. It is one of the checks in our guide to the best PPF.

Precut Patterns, No Blades on Paint

Film patterns are plotter cut for your exact make and model before the film touches the car, so no blade runs across your paint. Edges are wrapped rather than trimmed short, which is why they do not lift at the car wash later. Every PPF wrap is finished this way.

Why Customers Come to Us

Liquid R has one workshop, in Mitcham, and it is a fair drive from Hoppers Crossing. Customers make the trip because the work is done indoors by our own team rather than in a driveway, and we plan the booking so it takes one visit, not several. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. From Hoppers Crossing, most people bundle work into one visit: tint with a detail, or film with a coating, so the car only makes the trip once. We confirm the timing when you book.

Wear and Tear Pack from $380

Door cups, door edges and the boot ledge pick up marks on every car, however carefully it is driven. This pack covers them in clear film and is the cheapest way to keep a car looking looked after at trade-in.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Hoppers Crossing?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 53 km from Hoppers Crossing, roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Hoppers Crossing?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can you see PPF once it is fitted?

Clear gloss film is very hard to spot because edges are wrapped and patterns are cut for the model.

How much is PPF?

Headlight film starts at $180, the wear and tear pack at $380, a full front at $1980 and full body clear film is $5980. Larger vehicles and complex bodywork are quoted individually.
