Ceramic Coating Point Cook

Ceramic Coating for Point Cook Drivers

Looking for ceramic coating near Point Cook? Liquid R is about 53.1 km away in Mitcham, roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

Preparation is most of the job: a foam pre-wash, iron and tar removal, clay and machine polishing under inspection lights before the coating goes on. We use Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and Envoke ProCoat+ 7 Year Graphene Coating, cured indoors.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Ceramic or Graphene

Both cure into a hard layer over the clear coat. Graphene adds a slicker finish and lower surface tension, so it spots less on hot panels. If the car sleeps outside, graphene usually earns its extra cost.

Coating Versus Wax

Wax sits on top of the paint and gives up within weeks to sun and shampoo. A ceramic coating bonds and stays for years. Most of our coating customers are former regular waxers who did the sums. More in our ceramic coating myths article.

Coatings Near the Bay

Salt spray and sea air settle on cars parked near the water. A coated surface releases that residue with a rinse, instead of holding it until the next wash drags it across the paint.

Ceramic Coating from $980

On bare paint, ceramic coating starts at $980. That price includes the part of the job that decides the result: decontamination, iron and tar removal, clay and a single stage machine polish before the coating goes on.

Coating Over PPF

A ceramic layer can go over paint protection film in the same booking for $650. The film takes the stone chips and the coating keeps it easy to wash.

Point Cook Customers, One Workshop

Let us be straight: Mitcham is not around the corner from Point Cook. What you get for the drive is indoor bays, inspection lighting and our own team on your car, rather than a van in a car park. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. Because of the distance, we plan the work so the car needs one drop-off and one pickup, even when several jobs are booked together. We confirm the timing when you book.

Coating an Older Car

Older paint often shows the biggest change. The process is the same: decontaminate, correct what correction can fix, then coat. The coating locks in the corrected finish and makes it far easier to keep.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Point Cook?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 53.1 km from Point Cook, roughly 65 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Point Cook customers pay the same price?

Yes. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does a ceramic coating stop stone chips?

No. It protects against UV, staining, water spots and wash marks. Stone chips need paint protection film.

Why not use a DIY ceramic kit?

DIY kits skip the preparation. Applied over contaminated, uncorrected paint they lock in the problems and last a fraction as long.
