PPF Rowville

PPF Rowville: Fitted in Mitcham

Liquid R serves Rowville and the rest of Melbourne’s east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 17 km away and roughly 20 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Every PPF job is cut by plotter for your model and finished with wrapped edges, indoors in one of our ten bays. Coverage runs from door edges and cups to the whole car, and a ceramic layer can go over the film for $650 in the same booking.

Customers from Rowville pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Rowville to Mitcham

PPF or Ceramic Coating

Film stops stone chips. A ceramic coating makes the car easier to wash and holds the gloss, but does nothing against impacts. Plenty of owners run film on the front and a coating over the rest. Our PPF vs ceramic coating guide compares them.

Full Front PPF from $1980

Bonnet, front bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, about two days in the workshop. Freeway gravel lands almost entirely on the front third of a car, which is why most daily drivers stop here.

Freeway Kilometres on EastLink

Coming from Rowville usually means time on EastLink. Sitting behind traffic at freeway speed is the classic recipe for a chipped bonnet edge and a pitted bumper, which is why a full front is where most commuters start.

Wear and Tear Pack from $380

Door cups, door edges and the boot ledge pick up marks on every car, however carefully it is driven. This pack covers them in clear film and is the cheapest way to keep a car looking looked after at trade-in.

PPF on Utes, 4WDs and EVs

Utes get film on tray rails and tailgate edges, 4WD tourers get thicker Bushwrapz film, and electric cars with soft factory paint often go straight to full body film. Glass roofs can take Crystal Shield from $350.

Why Customers Come to Us

Rowville is close enough that a separate branch would make no sense. All PPF work happens in Mitcham, in ten indoor bays, done by the same people who quote it. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Rowville fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Films We Fit

Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first, with STEK as our second range. STEK DYNO films carry a ten year warranty against yellowing, bubbling, cracking and delamination.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Rowville?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 17 km from Rowville, roughly 20 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Rowville customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Is PPF worth it?

For cars that do freeway kilometres, usually yes. One repainted bumper costs more than a wear and tear pack.

Should I get PPF or a ceramic coating?

Film stops stone chips and a coating makes the car easier to keep clean. Many owners do film on the front and a coating over the rest.
