PPF Knoxfield

PPF near Knoxfield

Liquid R serves Knoxfield and the rest of Melbourne’s east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 12.9 km away and roughly 20 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Most drivers start with a full front: bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, fitted from patterns cut for the exact model so no blade touches the paint. Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first and STEK second, and both are warranted in writing.

Customers from Knoxfield pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

PPF on Utes, 4WDs and EVs

Utes get film on tray rails and tailgate edges, 4WD tourers get thicker Bushwrapz film, and electric cars with soft factory paint often go straight to full body film. Glass roofs can take Crystal Shield from $350.

Free Check in the First Month

Every film job includes a free inspection in the first month to look over the edges, and we suggest a yearly check after that. Booking it takes a phone call.

Freeway Kilometres on EastLink

Coming from Knoxfield usually means time on EastLink. Sitting behind traffic at freeway speed is the classic recipe for a chipped bonnet edge and a pitted bumper, which is why a full front is where most commuters start.

Two Warranties, Both in Writing

The film maker covers the film against yellowing, cracking and delamination, and we cover the installation. Both are handed over at pickup with care instructions, so you know who stands behind what.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We do not have a Knoxfield branch, and we do not need one: Knoxfield is one of the closest areas to our Mitcham workshop. Every PPF job is done indoors in our own bays by our own team, never by a mobile van in your driveway. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. Tell us when you can drop off and collect, and we schedule the job around those times. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Film on a New Car First

Film bonds best to paint that has never seen a freeway, so the ideal booking is straight from the dealer. We photograph any delivery defects before covering them, and new car packages bundle film with coating and tint.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Knoxfield?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 12.9 km from Knoxfield, roughly 20 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Knoxfield customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How much is PPF?

Headlight film starts at $180, the wear and tear pack at $380, a full front at $1980 and full body clear film is $5980. Larger vehicles and complex bodywork are quoted individually.

Does PPF turn yellow?

Quality film is UV stable and warranted against yellowing by its maker. Yellowing is a problem of budget film.
