PPF Box Hill

PPF for Box Hill Drivers

Box Hill drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for PPF. The workshop is about 8.2 km from Box Hill, roughly 15 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Most drivers start with a full front: bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, fitted from patterns cut for the exact model so no blade touches the paint. Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first and STEK second, and both are warranted in writing.

Customers from Box Hill pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Box Hill

From Box Hill the workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 8.2 km away, roughly 15 minutes via Whitehorse Road outside peak hour. There is parking on site and a bay booked for your arrival. If you would rather not wait, Mitcham and Heatherdale stations on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines are both about 1.5 km from the workshop. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

Paint protection film being trimmed on a panel

Wear and Tear Pack from $380

Door cups, door edges and the boot ledge pick up marks on every car, however carefully it is driven. This pack covers them in clear film and is the cheapest way to keep a car looking looked after at trade-in.

Paint protection film being sprayed and laid on a red Audi

Full Body PPF at $5980

Every painted panel in clear film, so doors, sills and the rear bumper get what the nose gets. It suits new deliveries, expensive factory colours and cars you plan to keep. Allow about a week.

Front end of a black Tesla Model S

Car Park Knocks and Stone Chips

Local driving brings its own damage: door edges tapped in shopping centre car parks, handle cups scratched by rings, and stones from the car in front. A wear and tear pack from $380 covers the first two.

Headlight protection film being fitted to a red Audi

Headlight Film from $180

Polycarbonate headlight lenses yellow and pit, and a modern headlight unit can cost more than a full front of film. Precut clear film keeps them clear and goes on in under an hour while you wait.

Leather protection being applied to a cream seat

Interior PPF

Gloss black interior consoles and screen surrounds scratch from rings and keys within months. Optically clear interior film protects them without changing how they look or feel.

Box Hill Customers, One Workshop

We do not have a Box Hill branch, and we do not need one: Box Hill is one of the closest areas to our Mitcham workshop. Every PPF job is done indoors in our own bays by our own team, never by a mobile van in your driveway. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. Box Hill is close enough that waiting at home while we work is realistic. Saturday mornings are open 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Edges Wrapped, Not Cut Short

The edge is the weak point of any film job. Where the panel allows it, film is wrapped around the edge and finished out of sight, so there is no line to see and nothing for a pressure washer to lift. It is one of the checks in our guide to the best PPF.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Box Hill?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 8.2 km from Box Hill, roughly 15 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Box Hill?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does PPF damage the paint when it comes off?

No. Professionally removed film releases with heat and leaves factory paint as it was when covered.

Is PPF worth it?

For cars that do freeway kilometres, usually yes. One repainted bumper costs more than a wear and tear pack.
