Ceramic Coating Footscray

Ceramic Coating near Footscray

Footscray drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for ceramic coating. The workshop is about 31.6 km from Footscray, roughly 45 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

A coating keeps paint glossy and easy to wash for two to five years in normal Melbourne use. It will not stop stone chips, so plenty of owners pair it with film on the front, which we can fit in the same booking.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

What a Coating Does Not Do

A coating is microns thick. It will not stop a stone chip and it will not fill existing scratches. Chips need paint protection film, and scratches need correction before the coating locks them in.

Leather and Fabric Coating

Gtechniq L1 on leather and I1 on fabric slow how fast spills soak in, so coffee and sunscreen wipe away instead of staining. Popular on light interiors and family cars.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Eastern Freeway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

Lights, Trim and Every Panel

In our packages the coating goes on every external panel, and on headlights, tail lights and exterior trim as well, so the whole car beads and cleans the same way.

What a Coating Does

The coating bonds to the clear coat and fills the tiny pores that make paint grab dirt. Rain beads and rolls off, bugs release with a rinse, and the clear coat is shielded from UV and chemical staining.

Footscray Customers, One Workshop

Let us be straight: Mitcham is not around the corner from Footscray. What you get for the drive is indoor bays, inspection lighting and our own team on your car, rather than a van in a car park. Booking and Turnaround

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. Because of the distance, we plan the work so the car needs one drop-off and one pickup, even when several jobs are booked together. We confirm the timing when you book.

Wheel Ceramic at $60 a Wheel

Brake dust bakes onto bare alloys and pits the finish. A wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, handles the heat and lets the dust rinse off before it bonds.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Footscray?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 31.6 km from Footscray, roughly 45 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Footscray?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can you coat an older car?

Yes. Older paint is decontaminated and corrected first, then coated, and often shows the biggest change.

Does my car need correction before coating?

If the paint has swirls or scratches, yes, because the coating seals in what is underneath. New cars usually need only a light polish.
