Coated Indoors

Coating in a driveway lets wind-blown dust settle into the wet coating. Our bays are indoors, lit for inspection and kept at a steady temperature so the coating cures the way its maker intended.

Dual Layer Upgrade

For owners chasing more durability, packages can be upgraded to a dual layer coating or to Labocosmetica STC and HPC Pro. We will tell you plainly when the standard coating is all your car needs.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Eastern Freeway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

Coating Over PPF

A ceramic layer can go over paint protection film in the same booking for $650. The film takes the stone chips and the coating keeps it easy to wash.

How Long It Lasts

A professionally applied coating protects for two to five years in normal Melbourne use, and well maintained cars have stretched ours toward nine. The wash routine makes most of the difference, and our list of mistakes to avoid after a coating covers the rest.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We have no branch out near Essendon, only our Mitcham workshop. If the drive suits you, the work is done indoors by staff who do this every day, and the booking is planned around a single trip. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. Coming from Essendon, it makes sense to combine jobs, such as film and coating, or a detail with tint, into one booking so the drive happens once. We confirm the timing when you book.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Essendon?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 32.5 km from Essendon, roughly 45 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Essendon customers pay the same price?

Yes. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does a ceramic coating stop stone chips?

No. It protects against UV, staining, water spots and wash marks. Stone chips need paint protection film.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Two to five years in normal Melbourne use with a proper wash routine, and longer on well maintained cars.
