Car Detailing Essendon

Car Detailing near Essendon

Essendon drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for car detailing. The workshop is about 32.5 km from Essendon, roughly 45 minutes by car outside peak hour. Detailing covers decontamination, staged machine correction and full interior work, with machine polishing from $850.

Detailing is often the first step before a coating or film, because both lock in whatever finish sits underneath. A maintenance detail usually takes a day, and correction one to three days.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Essendon

Allow roughly 45 minutes from Essendon outside peak hour. The route is about 32.5 km via Eastern Freeway, ending at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham, where there is parking out the front. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

Cut and Polish from $850

Machine polishing starts from $850. We start with the lightest cut that shows a result and work the deeper defects individually, because clear coat is finite and modern cars have less of it than ever.

Seal the Work After Correction

Freshly corrected paint is bare. A ceramic coating, from $980 including single stage correction, locks in the finish. Correcting without sealing means paying for the same result twice.

Commuter Car Grime

Daily runs on Eastern Freeway leave iron particles and brake dust bonded to the paint and wheels. A proper detail removes them before they etch, and a coating afterwards slows the build-up.

PPF Refresh

For cars already wearing film: the film is washed with DFA Surface Cleaner from Defcon Films Australia, water spots are lifted, edges are checked and the film is resealed so it beads like the week it went on. Between visits, follow our aftercare routine.

Odour Treatment

Smoke, pets, gym gear and spilt milk leave smells that air freshener only covers. Full extraction and odour treatment remove the source, so the cabin smells of nothing. See classic car detailing for older interiors.

Essendon Customers, One Workshop

Let us be straight: Mitcham is not around the corner from Essendon. What you get for the drive is indoor bays, inspection lighting and our own team on your car, rather than a van in a car park. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. Because of the distance, we plan the work so the car needs one drop-off and one pickup, even when several jobs are booked together. We confirm the timing when you book.

Wheels and Calipers

Brake dust bakes onto wheels and calipers first. After cleaning we can apply a high temperature wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, so the dust rinses off between details.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Essendon?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 32.5 km from Essendon, roughly 45 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Essendon?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How often should a car be detailed?

A protected, sensibly washed car needs a maintenance detail once or twice a year. Cars parked outside benefit from more.

Will detailing remove scratches?

Swirls and shallow scratches polish out. A scratch you can catch a fingernail in is through the clear coat and needs paint.
