PPF Hampton Park

PPF for Hampton Park Drivers

Hampton Park drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for PPF. The workshop is about 29.2 km from Hampton Park, roughly 35 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Every PPF job is cut by plotter for your model and finished with wrapped edges, indoors in one of our ten bays. Coverage runs from door edges and cups to the whole car, and a ceramic layer can go over the film for $650 in the same booking.

Every quote is a fixed figure before the car is booked, and it is the same whichever suburb you come from. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

How Self-Healing Film Works

PPF is urethane with an elastic top coat, one of the products and technologies we work with. Light scratches and wash marks sit in that top layer, and warmth from the sun or warm water relaxes them back out. A cut through the film is the damage that would otherwise have been in your paint.

Bonnet, front bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, about two days in the workshop. Freeway gravel lands almost entirely on the front third of a car, which is why most daily drivers stop here.

New Estates and Roadworks

Areas with new estates often have roadworks, trucks and loose gravel on the road. That is exactly what chips a bonnet edge, and front end film from $1980 is the fix that lasts.

Two Warranties, Both in Writing

The film maker covers the film against yellowing, cracking and delamination, and we cover the installation. Both are handed over at pickup with care instructions, so you know who stands behind what.

Edges Wrapped, Not Cut Short

The edge is the weak point of any film job. Where the panel allows it, film is wrapped around the edge and finished out of sight, so there is no line to see and nothing for a pressure washer to lift. It is one of the checks in our guide to the best PPF.

Planning the Visit

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Hampton Park fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Films We Fit

Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first, with STEK as our second range. STEK DYNO films carry a ten year warranty against yellowing, bubbling, cracking and delamination.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Hampton Park?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 29.2 km from Hampton Park, roughly 35 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Hampton Park customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Is PPF worth it?

For cars that do freeway kilometres, usually yes. One repainted bumper costs more than a wear and tear pack.

Can you see PPF once it is fitted?

Clear gloss film is very hard to spot because edges are wrapped and patterns are cut for the model.
