PPF Narre Warren

PPF Narre Warren: Fitted in Mitcham

Liquid R serves Narre Warren and the rest of Melbourne’s south east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 30.6 km away and roughly 35 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Most drivers start with a full front: bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors in self-healing film, fitted from patterns cut for the exact model so no blade touches the paint. Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first and STEK second, and both are warranted in writing.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Films We Fit

Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first, with STEK as our second range. STEK DYNO films carry a ten year warranty against yellowing, bubbling, cracking and delamination.

PPF or Ceramic Coating

Film stops stone chips. A ceramic coating makes the car easier to wash and holds the gloss, but does nothing against impacts. Plenty of owners run film on the front and a coating over the rest. Our PPF vs ceramic coating guide compares them.

Gravel and Trucks

Around Narre Warren, construction traffic and fresh road surfaces throw up loose stones. Front end film from $1980 takes those hits, and headlight film from $180 keeps the lenses from pitting.

Film on a New Car First

Film bonds best to paint that has never seen a freeway, so the ideal booking is straight from the dealer. We photograph any delivery defects before covering them, and new car packages bundle film with coating and tint.

Precut Patterns, No Blades on Paint

Film patterns are plotter cut for your exact make and model before the film touches the car, so no blade runs across your paint. Edges are wrapped rather than trimmed short, which is why they do not lift at the car wash later. Every PPF wrap is finished this way.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Narre Warren shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because PPF needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Narre Warren fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Wear and Tear Pack from $380

Door cups, door edges and the boot ledge pick up marks on every car, however carefully it is driven. This pack covers them in clear film and is the cheapest way to keep a car looking looked after at trade-in.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Narre Warren?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 30.6 km from Narre Warren, roughly 35 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Narre Warren?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can you see PPF once it is fitted?

Clear gloss film is very hard to spot because edges are wrapped and patterns are cut for the model.

Is PPF worth it?

For cars that do freeway kilometres, usually yes. One repainted bumper costs more than a wear and tear pack.
