PPF Collingwood

PPF Collingwood: Fitted in Mitcham

Looking for PPF near Collingwood? Liquid R is about 23.7 km away in Mitcham, roughly 30 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Every PPF job is cut by plotter for your model and finished with wrapped edges, indoors in one of our ten bays. Coverage runs from door edges and cups to the whole car, and a ceramic layer can go over the film for $650 in the same booking.

Customers from Collingwood pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Collingwood

Film on a New Car First

Film bonds best to paint that has never seen a freeway, so the ideal booking is straight from the dealer. We photograph any delivery defects before covering them, and new car packages bundle film with coating and tint.

Edges Wrapped, Not Cut Short

The edge is the weak point of any film job. Where the panel allows it, film is wrapped around the edge and finished out of sight, so there is no line to see and nothing for a pressure washer to lift. It is one of the checks in our guide to the best PPF.

Freeway Kilometres on Eastern Freeway

Coming from Collingwood usually means time on Eastern Freeway. Sitting behind traffic at freeway speed is the classic recipe for a chipped bonnet edge and a pitted bumper, which is why a full front is where most commuters start.

PPF on Utes, 4WDs and EVs

Utes get film on tray rails and tailgate edges, 4WD tourers get thicker Bushwrapz film, and electric cars with soft factory paint often go straight to full body film. Glass roofs can take Crystal Shield from $350.

Free Check in the First Month

Every film job includes a free inspection in the first month to look over the edges, and we suggest a yearly check after that. Booking it takes a phone call.

Why Customers Come to Us

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Collingwood shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because PPF needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. Tell us when you can drop off and collect, and we schedule the job around those times. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Coating Over the Film

A ceramic layer applied over the film in the same booking costs $650. Water sheets off, road grime releases with less scrubbing, and the film keeps its gloss between washes.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Collingwood?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 23.7 km from Collingwood, roughly 30 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Collingwood?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does PPF damage the paint when it comes off?

No. Professionally removed film releases with heat and leaves factory paint as it was when covered.

Should I get PPF or a ceramic coating?

Film stops stone chips and a coating makes the car easier to keep clean. Many owners do film on the front and a coating over the rest.
