Ceramic Coating Collingwood

Ceramic Coating for Collingwood Drivers

Collingwood drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for ceramic coating. The workshop is about 23.7 km from Collingwood, roughly 30 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

Preparation is most of the job: a foam pre-wash, iron and tar removal, clay and machine polishing under inspection lights before the coating goes on. We use Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and Envoke ProCoat+ 7 Year Graphene Coating, cured indoors.

Customers from Collingwood pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Collingwood

Lights, Trim and Every Panel

In our packages the coating goes on every external panel, and on headlights, tail lights and exterior trim as well, so the whole car beads and cleans the same way.

Ceramic coating being applied with an applicator block

Ceramic or Graphene

Both cure into a hard layer over the clear coat. Graphene adds a slicker finish and lower surface tension, so it spots less on hot panels. If the car sleeps outside, graphene usually earns its extra cost.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Eastern Freeway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

Dual Layer Upgrade

For owners chasing more durability, packages can be upgraded to a dual layer coating or to Labocosmetica STC and HPC Pro. We will tell you plainly when the standard coating is all your car needs.

Coating Over PPF

A ceramic layer can go over paint protection film in the same booking for $650. The film takes the stone chips and the coating keeps it easy to wash.

Why Customers Come to Us

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Collingwood shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because ceramic coating needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. For Collingwood customers we line up drop-off and pickup times when you book, so you know exactly which days the car is with us. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Water Spots and Bore Water

Sprinklers and bore water leave mineral rings that etch bare paint in the sun. Graphene chemistry in particular resists those spots, and a coated panel releases them with a normal wash.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Collingwood?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 23.7 km from Collingwood, roughly 30 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Who does the best ceramic coating near Collingwood?

Judge any shop on the things that decide the result: a professional grade coating, full decontamination and machine polish first, indoor curing and a written warranty. That is how we work at our Mitcham workshop, about 23.7 km from Collingwood, and we are happy to show you finished cars before you book.

Do Collingwood customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does a ceramic coating stop stone chips?

No. It protects against UV, staining, water spots and wash marks. Stone chips need paint protection film.

Does my car need correction before coating?

If the paint has swirls or scratches, yes, because the coating seals in what is underneath. New cars usually need only a light polish.
