PPF Clayton

PPF for Clayton Drivers

Liquid R serves Clayton and the rest of Melbourne’s south east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 17.7 km away and roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour. PPF, the clear film that stops stone chips, starts at $180 for headlights and runs to $5980 for every painted panel, with a full front from $1980.

Every PPF job is cut by plotter for your model and finished with wrapped edges, indoors in one of our ten bays. Coverage runs from door edges and cups to the whole car, and a ceramic layer can go over the film for $650 in the same booking.

Customers from Clayton pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

What Moves a PPF Quote

Panel area sets the base price and shape does the rest: a deep bumper full of sensors and vents takes far more film and time than a flat bonnet. Swirled or resprayed paint is machine polished first, from $850, because film shows what is under it. The full breakdown is in our PPF cost guide.

How Self-Healing Film Works

PPF is urethane with an elastic top coat, one of the products and technologies we work with. Light scratches and wash marks sit in that top layer, and warmth from the sun or warm water relaxes them back out. A cut through the film is the damage that would otherwise have been in your paint.

Car Park Knocks and Stone Chips

Local driving brings its own damage: door edges tapped in shopping centre car parks, handle cups scratched by rings, and stones from the car in front. A wear and tear pack from $380 covers the first two.

Precut Patterns, No Blades on Paint

Film patterns are plotter cut for your exact make and model before the film touches the car, so no blade runs across your paint. Edges are wrapped rather than trimmed short, which is why they do not lift at the car wash later. Every PPF wrap is finished this way.

Films We Fit

Clear gloss and satin films come from Defcon Films Australia first, with STEK as our second range. STEK DYNO films carry a ten year warranty against yellowing, bubbling, cracking and delamination.

Why Customers Come to Us

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Clayton shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because PPF needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best PPF in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Headlight film is under an hour, a full front about two days and full body film about a week. For Clayton customers we line up drop-off and pickup times when you book, so you know exactly which days the car is with us. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Clayton?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 17.7 km from Clayton, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Clayton customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How much is PPF?

Headlight film starts at $180, the wear and tear pack at $380, a full front at $1980 and full body clear film is $5980. Larger vehicles and complex bodywork are quoted individually.

Does PPF damage the paint when it comes off?

No. Professionally removed film releases with heat and leaves factory paint as it was when covered.
