Car Detailing Clayton

Car Detailing near Clayton

Liquid R serves Clayton and the rest of Melbourne’s south east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 17.7 km away and roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour. Detailing covers decontamination, staged machine correction and full interior work, with machine polishing from $850.

A proper detail starts with decontamination to lift iron, tar and water minerals, then staged machine correction under inspection lights, never a hard cut over the whole car. Inside, carpets are extracted and leather is cleaned and protected.

Customers from Clayton pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Getting Here from Clayton

Odour Treatment

Smoke, pets, gym gear and spilt milk leave smells that air freshener only covers. Full extraction and odour treatment remove the source, so the cabin smells of nothing. See classic car detailing for older interiors.

Wheels and Calipers

Brake dust bakes onto wheels and calipers first. After cleaning we can apply a high temperature wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, so the dust rinses off between details.

Everyday Wear, Fixed

Shopping trolleys, school runs and street parking leave fine scratches and grime that a wash never shifts. A detail takes the car back to a clean, glossy baseline.

Seal the Work After Correction

Freshly corrected paint is bare. A ceramic coating, from $980 including single stage correction, locks in the finish. Correcting without sealing means paying for the same result twice.

Selling the Car? Detail It First

Buyers price what they see. A corrected, deep cleaned car photographs and negotiates better, and the detail usually costs less than the first price drop a tired car takes. For high value cars, see prestige car detailing.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Clayton shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because car detailing needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Clayton fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Clear Coat Is Finite

Every cut removes a little clear coat, and modern cars leave the factory with less of it than ever. That is why we measure the result as we go and never cut a whole panel hard to chase two scratches. Our guide to a good cut and polish explains why.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Clayton?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 17.7 km from Clayton, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Clayton?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Do you do paint correction?

Yes. Correction is staged by machine under inspection lights, from $850, and quoted after we see the paint.

What is in each detailing package?

Basic is a decontamination wash and interior clean, Deluxe adds machine polish and interior protection, and Premium adds multi-stage correction and protection.
