Ceramic Coating Vermont South

Ceramic Coating Vermont South: Done in Mitcham

Looking for ceramic coating near Vermont South? Liquid R is about 6.2 km away in Mitcham, roughly 15 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

A coating keeps paint glossy and easy to wash for two to five years in normal Melbourne use. It will not stop stone chips, so plenty of owners pair it with film on the front, which we can fit in the same booking.

Customers from Vermont South pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Coating Versus Wax

Wax sits on top of the paint and gives up within weeks to sun and shampoo. A ceramic coating bonds and stays for years. Most of our coating customers are former regular waxers who did the sums. More in our ceramic coating myths article.

Coating Over PPF

A ceramic layer can go over paint protection film in the same booking for $650. The film takes the stone chips and the coating keeps it easy to wash.

Trees, Birds and Parking Outside

Cars parked on the street or under trees collect sap and bird droppings that etch bare paint in the sun. A coated surface buys time and releases them with a gentle wash.

How Long It Lasts

A professionally applied coating protects for two to five years in normal Melbourne use, and well maintained cars have stretched ours toward nine. The wash routine makes most of the difference, and our list of mistakes to avoid after a coating covers the rest.

Lights, Trim and Every Panel

In our packages the coating goes on every external panel, and on headlights, tail lights and exterior trim as well, so the whole car beads and cleans the same way.

Vermont South Customers, One Workshop

We do not have a Vermont South branch, and we do not need one: Vermont South is one of the closest areas to our Mitcham workshop. Every ceramic coating job is done indoors in our own bays by our own team, never by a mobile van in your driveway. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. Being this close to Vermont South, a morning drop-off and an afternoon pickup is simple to fit around a working day. Saturday mornings are open 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Ceramic or Graphene

Both cure into a hard layer over the clear coat. Graphene adds a slicker finish and lower surface tension, so it spots less on hot panels. If the car sleeps outside, graphene usually earns its extra cost.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Vermont South?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 6.2 km from Vermont South, roughly 15 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Vermont South?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How long does a ceramic coating last?

Two to five years in normal Melbourne use with a proper wash routine, and longer on well maintained cars.

Ceramic or graphene coating?

Both protect the clear coat. Graphene is slicker and spots less on hot panels, which suits cars parked outside.
