Machine polishing a black car during paint correction

Swirls, Water Spots and Sun Damage

Melbourne paint collects wash swirls from brush car washes, mineral rings from sprinklers, oxidised patches from years of UV and fine car park door marks. Each has its own fix, and most look worse than they are. Dark paint shows them most, as our article on protecting dark cars explains.

Cut and Polish from $850

Machine polishing starts from $850. We start with the lightest cut that shows a result and work the deeper defects individually, because clear coat is finite and modern cars have less of it than ever.

Everyday Wear, Fixed

Shopping trolleys, school runs and street parking leave fine scratches and grime that a wash never shifts. A detail takes the car back to a clean, glossy baseline.

Leather and Fabric Protection

After the clean we can protect: Gtechniq L1 for leather and I1 for fabric. Both slow how fast liquid soaks in, which turns a coffee spill from a stain into a wipe.

Interior Detailing

Carpets and mats extracted, leather cleaned and fed, vents and switchgear brushed out. Sunscreen film on plastics and coffee in the console both come out, and the cabin leaves smelling of nothing. Why it is worth doing properly is covered in the benefits of a premium detail.

Vermont South Customers, One Workshop

We do not have a Vermont South branch, and we do not need one: Vermont South is one of the closest areas to our Mitcham workshop. Every car detailing job is done indoors in our own bays by our own team, never by a mobile van in your driveway. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. Vermont South is close enough that waiting at home while we work is realistic. Saturday mornings are open 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Exterior Detailing

Full decontamination, then staged machine correction, what most Australians call a cut and polish, to cut back swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation before polishing to a deep gloss. It changes how the paint reads in daylight.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Vermont South?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 6.2 km from Vermont South, roughly 15 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Vermont South?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How often should a car be detailed?

A protected, sensibly washed car needs a maintenance detail once or twice a year. Cars parked outside benefit from more.

Do you do paint correction?

Yes. Correction is staged by machine under inspection lights, from $850, and quoted after we see the paint.
