Water Spots and Bore Water

Sprinklers and bore water leave mineral rings that etch bare paint in the sun. Graphene chemistry in particular resists those spots, and a coated panel releases them with a normal wash.

Ceramic or Graphene

Both cure into a hard layer over the clear coat. Graphene adds a slicker finish and lower surface tension, so it spots less on hot panels. If the car sleeps outside, graphene usually earns its extra cost.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Burwood Highway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

What a Coating Does

The coating bonds to the clear coat and fills the tiny pores that make paint grab dirt. Rain beads and rolls off, bugs release with a rinse, and the clear coat is shielded from UV and chemical staining.

Wheel Ceramic at $60 a Wheel

Brake dust bakes onto bare alloys and pits the finish. A wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, handles the heat and lets the dust rinse off before it bonds.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Burwood shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because ceramic coating needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Burwood fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

How far is Liquid R from Burwood?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 15.7 km from Burwood, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Burwood?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How much is a ceramic coating?

On bare paint it starts at $980 including decontamination and single stage machine polish. New car packages with coating start at $1090, and coating over PPF is $650.

Does a ceramic coating stop stone chips?

No. It protects against UV, staining, water spots and wash marks. Stone chips need paint protection film.
