Ceramic Coating for Bulleen Drivers

Liquid R serves Bulleen and the rest of Melbourne’s east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 15 km away and roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

Preparation is most of the job: a foam pre-wash, iron and tar removal, clay and machine polishing under inspection lights before the coating goes on. We use Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and Envoke ProCoat+ 7 Year Graphene Coating, cured indoors.

Getting Here from Bulleen

Gtechniq Trained Since 2015

We have been coating cars in Mitcham since 2015 as Gtechniq trained applicators, and we use the full Gtechniq range every week alongside Envoke graphene in our new car packs.

New Car Packages from $1090

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Eastern Freeway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

Coating Over PPF

A ceramic layer can go over paint protection film in the same booking for $650. The film takes the stone chips and the coating keeps it easy to wash.

How Long It Lasts

A professionally applied coating protects for two to five years in normal Melbourne use, and well maintained cars have stretched ours toward nine. The wash routine makes most of the difference, and our list of mistakes to avoid after a coating covers the rest.

Bulleen Customers, One Workshop

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Bulleen shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because ceramic coating needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. How Long the Car Stays

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. For Bulleen customers we line up drop-off and pickup times when you book, so you know exactly which days the car is with us. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Water Spots and Bore Water

Sprinklers and bore water leave mineral rings that etch bare paint in the sun. Graphene chemistry in particular resists those spots, and a coated panel releases them with a normal wash.

Is pricing different for Bulleen?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does my car need correction before coating?

If the paint has swirls or scratches, yes, because the coating seals in what is underneath. New cars usually need only a light polish.

Is a ceramic coating worth it?

If you keep the car more than a couple of years, usually yes. It replaces the wax cycle and keeps the paint from dulling.
