Car Detailing Bulleen

Car Detailing near Bulleen

Bulleen drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for car detailing. The workshop is about 15 km from Bulleen, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour. Detailing covers decontamination, staged machine correction and full interior work, with machine polishing from $850.

A proper detail starts with decontamination to lift iron, tar and water minerals, then staged machine correction under inspection lights, never a hard cut over the whole car. Inside, carpets are extracted and leather is cleaned and protected.

Every quote is a fixed figure before the car is booked, and it is the same whichever suburb you come from. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Clear Coat Is Finite

Every cut removes a little clear coat, and modern cars leave the factory with less of it than ever. That is why we measure the result as we go and never cut a whole panel hard to chase two scratches. Our guide to a good cut and polish explains why.

Odour Treatment

Smoke, pets, gym gear and spilt milk leave smells that air freshener only covers. Full extraction and odour treatment remove the source, so the cabin smells of nothing. See classic car detailing for older interiors.

Commuter Car Grime

Daily runs on Eastern Freeway leave iron particles and brake dust bonded to the paint and wheels. A proper detail removes them before they etch, and a coating afterwards slows the build-up.

Wheels and Calipers

Brake dust bakes onto wheels and calipers first. After cleaning we can apply a high temperature wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, so the dust rinses off between details.

Swirls, Water Spots and Sun Damage

Melbourne paint collects wash swirls from brush car washes, mineral rings from sprinklers, oxidised patches from years of UV and fine car park door marks. Each has its own fix, and most look worse than they are. Dark paint shows them most, as our article on protecting dark cars explains.

Bulleen Customers, One Workshop

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Bulleen shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because car detailing needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Bulleen fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Indoors, Under Proper Lights

Every detail is done in our indoor bays, lit for inspection so defects are visible while we work. Polishing outdoors in bright sun hides swirls that show up later. More on what a proper detail changes.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Bulleen?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 15 km from Bulleen, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Bulleen customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

How often should a car be detailed?

A protected, sensibly washed car needs a maintenance detail once or twice a year. Cars parked outside benefit from more.

Is detailing worth it before selling?

Almost always. The detail usually costs less than the first haggle a tired car invites.
