Ceramic Coating Dandenong

Ceramic Coating for Dandenong Drivers

Looking for ceramic coating near Dandenong? Liquid R is about 23.4 km away in Mitcham, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

Preparation is most of the job: a foam pre-wash, iron and tar removal, clay and machine polishing under inspection lights before the coating goes on. We use Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and Envoke ProCoat+ 7 Year Graphene Coating, cured indoors.

Customers from Dandenong pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

What a Coating Does Not Do

A coating is microns thick. It will not stop a stone chip and it will not fill existing scratches. Chips need paint protection film, and scratches need correction before the coating locks them in.

Coating an Older Car

Older paint often shows the biggest change. The process is the same: decontaminate, correct what correction can fix, then coat. The coating locks in the corrected finish and makes it far easier to keep.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like EastLink coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

Water Spots and Bore Water

Sprinklers and bore water leave mineral rings that etch bare paint in the sun. Graphene chemistry in particular resists those spots, and a coated panel releases them with a normal wash.

Wheel Ceramic at $60 a Wheel

Brake dust bakes onto bare alloys and pits the finish. A wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, handles the heat and lets the dust rinse off before it bonds.

Dandenong Customers, One Workshop

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Dandenong shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because ceramic coating needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Dandenong fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Preparation Decides the Result

Foam pre-wash, two bucket contact wash, iron and tar removal, clay, then machine polishing under inspection lights. Skip any step and you seal dirt and swirls under glass. This preparation, the same work as a cut and polish, is most of the labour and most of the price.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Dandenong?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 23.4 km from Dandenong, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Dandenong customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Is a ceramic coating worth it?

If you keep the car more than a couple of years, usually yes. It replaces the wax cycle and keeps the paint from dulling.

Why not use a DIY ceramic kit?

DIY kits skip the preparation. Applied over contaminated, uncorrected paint they lock in the problems and last a fraction as long.
