Ceramic Coating Ashburton

Ceramic Coating for Ashburton Drivers

Ashburton drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for ceramic coating. The workshop is about 15.9 km from Ashburton, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

A coating keeps paint glossy and easy to wash for two to five years in normal Melbourne use. It will not stop stone chips, so plenty of owners pair it with film on the front, which we can fit in the same booking.

Customers from Ashburton pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

What a Coating Does Not Do

A coating is microns thick. It will not stop a stone chip and it will not fill existing scratches. Chips need paint protection film, and scratches need correction before the coating locks them in.

Coating an Older Car

Older paint often shows the biggest change. The process is the same: decontaminate, correct what correction can fix, then coat. The coating locks in the corrected finish and makes it far easier to keep.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Burwood Highway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

Water Spots and Bore Water

Sprinklers and bore water leave mineral rings that etch bare paint in the sun. Graphene chemistry in particular resists those spots, and a coated panel releases them with a normal wash.

Ceramic or Graphene

Both cure into a hard layer over the clear coat. Graphene adds a slicker finish and lower surface tension, so it spots less on hot panels. If the car sleeps outside, graphene usually earns its extra cost.

Ashburton Customers, One Workshop

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Ashburton shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because ceramic coating needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

Booking and Turnaround

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. For Ashburton customers we line up drop-off and pickup times when you book, so you know exactly which days the car is with us. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

What a Coating Does

The coating bonds to the clear coat and fills the tiny pores that make paint grab dirt. Rain beads and rolls off, bugs release with a rinse, and the clear coat is shielded from UV and chemical staining.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Ashburton?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 15.9 km from Ashburton, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Ashburton?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Why not use a DIY ceramic kit?

DIY kits skip the preparation. Applied over contaminated, uncorrected paint they lock in the problems and last a fraction as long.

Does my car need correction before coating?

If the paint has swirls or scratches, yes, because the coating seals in what is underneath. New cars usually need only a light polish.
