Ceramic Coating Highett

Ceramic Coating for Highett Drivers

Highett drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for ceramic coating. The workshop is about 28.4 km from Highett, roughly 40 minutes by car outside peak hour. Ceramic coating starts at $980 on bare paint, including decontamination and machine polish, and new car packages start at $1090.

Preparation is most of the job: a foam pre-wash, iron and tar removal, clay and machine polishing under inspection lights before the coating goes on. We use Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light and Envoke ProCoat+ 7 Year Graphene Coating, cured indoors.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Coated Indoors

Coating in a driveway lets wind-blown dust settle into the wet coating. Our bays are indoors, lit for inspection and kept at a steady temperature so the coating cures the way its maker intended.

Trees, Birds and Parking Outside

Cars parked on the street or under trees collect sap and bird droppings that etch bare paint in the sun. A coated surface buys time and releases them with a gentle wash.

Gtechniq Trained Since 2015

We have been coating cars in Mitcham since 2015 as Gtechniq trained applicators, and we use the full Gtechniq range every week alongside Envoke graphene in our new car packs.

Preparation Decides the Result

Foam pre-wash, two bucket contact wash, iron and tar removal, clay, then machine polishing under inspection lights. Skip any step and you seal dirt and swirls under glass. This preparation, the same work as a cut and polish, is most of the labour and most of the price.

Highett Customers, One Workshop

We have no branch out near Highett, only our Mitcham workshop. If the drive suits you, the work is done indoors by staff who do this every day, and the booking is planned around a single trip. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best ceramic coating in Melbourne lists what to check.

How Long the Car Stays

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. Because of the distance, we plan the work so the car needs one drop-off and one pickup, even when several jobs are booked together. We confirm the timing when you book.

What a Coating Does Not Do

A coating is microns thick. It will not stop a stone chip and it will not fill existing scratches. Chips need paint protection film, and scratches need correction before the coating locks them in.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Highett?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 28.4 km from Highett, roughly 40 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Highett customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Why not use a DIY ceramic kit?

DIY kits skip the preparation. Applied over contaminated, uncorrected paint they lock in the problems and last a fraction as long.

Does my car need correction before coating?

If the paint has swirls or scratches, yes, because the coating seals in what is underneath. New cars usually need only a light polish.
