Car Detailing Caulfield

Car Detailing near Caulfield

Caulfield drivers come to Liquid R in Mitcham for car detailing. The workshop is about 22.4 km from Caulfield, roughly 35 minutes by car outside peak hour. Detailing covers decontamination, staged machine correction and full interior work, with machine polishing from $850.

A proper detail starts with decontamination to lift iron, tar and water minerals, then staged machine correction under inspection lights, never a hard cut over the whole car. Inside, carpets are extracted and leather is cleaned and protected.

Customers from Caulfield pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Detailing Is Not a Car Wash

A proper detail goes further than a wash. A wash removes what is loose. Detailing removes what has bonded: iron particles, tar, tree sap and water minerals baked on by summer. Only then can you see what the paint really looks like.

Three Package Levels

Basic covers a decontamination wash and interior clean, the starting point of our car detailing packages. Deluxe adds machine polish and interior protection. Premium is multi-stage correction and protection inside and out. Inclusions are confirmed on your quote.

Commuter Car Grime

Daily runs on Burwood Highway leave iron particles and brake dust bonded to the paint and wheels. A proper detail removes them before they etch, and a coating afterwards slows the build-up.

Interior Detailing

Carpets and mats extracted, leather cleaned and fed, vents and switchgear brushed out. Sunscreen film on plastics and coffee in the console both come out, and the cabin leaves smelling of nothing. Why it is worth doing properly is covered in the benefits of a premium detail.

Indoors, Under Proper Lights

Every detail is done in our indoor bays, lit for inspection so defects are visible while we work. Polishing outdoors in bright sun hides swirls that show up later. More on what a proper detail changes.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

Liquid R has one workshop, in Mitcham, and Caulfield customers come to it. That is deliberate: car detailing work needs clean indoor bays and proper lighting that a mobile setup cannot match, and every job is done by our own team. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. For Caulfield customers we line up drop-off and pickup times when you book, so you know exactly which days the car is with us. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Clear Coat Is Finite

Every cut removes a little clear coat, and modern cars leave the factory with less of it than ever. That is why we measure the result as we go and never cut a whole panel hard to chase two scratches. Our guide to a good cut and polish explains why.

How far is Liquid R from Caulfield?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 22.4 km from Caulfield, roughly 35 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Do Caulfield customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Is detailing worth it before selling?

Almost always. The detail usually costs less than the first haggle a tired car invites.

How long does a full detail take?

A maintenance detail is usually a day. Correction work runs one to three days depending on the paint.
