Car Detailing Boronia

Car Detailing near Boronia

Liquid R serves Boronia and the rest of Melbourne’s east from one workshop in Mitcham, about 11.7 km away and roughly 20 minutes by car outside peak hour. Detailing covers decontamination, staged machine correction and full interior work, with machine polishing from $850.

Detailing is often the first step before a coating or film, because both lock in whatever finish sits underneath. A maintenance detail usually takes a day, and correction one to three days.

Customers from Boronia pay the same as everyone else, because the price follows the car and the work. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

The Drive from Boronia

From Boronia the workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 11.7 km away, roughly 20 minutes via EastLink outside peak hour. There is parking on site and a bay booked for your arrival. Boronia is on the same train line as us: Mitcham and Heatherdale stations are each about 1.5 km from the workshop, so leaving the car and taking the train home works. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

Clear Coat Is Finite

Every cut removes a little clear coat, and modern cars leave the factory with less of it than ever. That is why we measure the result as we go and never cut a whole panel hard to chase two scratches. Our guide to a good cut and polish explains why.

Detailing Is Not a Car Wash

A proper detail goes further than a wash. A wash removes what is loose. Detailing removes what has bonded: iron particles, tar, tree sap and water minerals baked on by summer. Only then can you see what the paint really looks like.

Commuter Car Grime

Daily runs on EastLink leave iron particles and brake dust bonded to the paint and wheels. A proper detail removes them before they etch, and a coating afterwards slows the build-up.

Exterior Detailing

Full decontamination, then staged machine correction, what most Australians call a cut and polish, to cut back swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation before polishing to a deep gloss. It changes how the paint reads in daylight.

Wheels and Calipers

Brake dust bakes onto wheels and calipers first. After cleaning we can apply a high temperature wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, so the dust rinses off between details.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We do not have a Boronia branch, and we do not need one: Boronia is one of the closest areas to our Mitcham workshop. Every car detailing job is done indoors in our own bays by our own team, never by a mobile van in your driveway. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. Tell us when you can drop off and collect, and we schedule the job around those times. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Cut and Polish from $850

Machine polishing starts from $850. We start with the lightest cut that shows a result and work the deeper defects individually, because clear coat is finite and modern cars have less of it than ever.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Boronia?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 11.7 km from Boronia, roughly 20 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Boronia?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

What is in each detailing package?

Basic is a decontamination wash and interior clean, Deluxe adds machine polish and interior protection, and Premium adds multi-stage correction and protection.

How often should a car be detailed?

A protected, sensibly washed car needs a maintenance detail once or twice a year. Cars parked outside benefit from more.
