Tinting is done in our own bays by our own people, not sent out. The schedule holds, and the warranty has one name on it.
Old Tint Removed
Purple or bubbled film, the usual end of cheap tint, comes off with heat, including the glue on the demister lines, and the glass is cleaned back before new film goes on. Illegal tint from a previous owner is swapped for a legal shade in the same visit.
Legal Shades in Victoria
Under Victorian tint laws, front side windows must pass at least 35 percent of visible light. Rear side windows and the rear screen can go darker on most passenger cars. We fit the darkest legal shade by default and tell you if a combination would fail a roadworthy.
Accredited 3M Installer
3M does not sell its automotive films to just any workshop. Accreditation means trained installers, genuine film stock and a warranty 3M itself stands behind, which also counts at resale.
