Getting Here from Chirnside Park

Allow roughly 25 minutes from Chirnside Park outside peak hour. The route is about 16.5 km via Maroondah Highway and Ringwood Bypass, ending at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham, where there is parking out the front. Directions and opening hours are on our contact page.

Wheel Ceramic at $60 a Wheel

Brake dust bakes onto bare alloys and pits the finish. A wheel ceramic, $60 per wheel, handles the heat and lets the dust rinse off before it bonds.

Preparation Decides the Result

Foam pre-wash, two bucket contact wash, iron and tar removal, clay, then machine polishing under inspection lights. Skip any step and you seal dirt and swirls under glass. This preparation, the same work as a cut and polish, is most of the labour and most of the price.

Road Grime From the Commute

Freeway driving on roads like Maroondah Highway coats a car in road film, bugs and brake dust. A ceramic coating lets most of it rinse off, so the car stays clean longer between washes.

What a Coating Does Not Do

A coating is microns thick. It will not stop a stone chip and it will not fill existing scratches. Chips need paint protection film, and scratches need correction before the coating locks them in.

Water Spots and Bore Water

Sprinklers and bore water leave mineral rings that etch bare paint in the sun. Graphene chemistry in particular resists those spots, and a coated panel releases them with a normal wash.

One Workshop, in Mitcham

We are not a mobile service and we do not have a Chirnside Park shopfront. The work is done in Mitcham because ceramic coating needs dust-free bays, inspection lighting and time, all of which a driveway lacks. Planning the Visit

Coatings need curing time, so most cars stay with us for a couple of days. We agree the drop-off and pickup times with you up front, so a trip from Chirnside Park fits your week rather than the other way round. We are open weekdays 8:30am to 5:00pm and Saturdays to 12:30pm.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

How far is Liquid R from Chirnside Park?

The workshop at 12/23A Cook Road, Mitcham is about 16.5 km from Chirnside Park, roughly 25 minutes by car outside peak hour.

Is pricing different for Chirnside Park?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Does my car need correction before coating?

If the paint has swirls or scratches, yes, because the coating seals in what is underneath. New cars usually need only a light polish.

Can you coat an older car?

Yes. Older paint is decontaminated and corrected first, then coated, and often shows the biggest change.
