Car Detailing Mitcham

Car Detailing in Mitcham

Liquid R is based in Mitcham, at 12/23A Cook Road. Detailing covers decontamination, staged machine correction and full interior work, with machine polishing from $850. Everything is done in our own indoor bays, by our own team, in a 1,000 square metre workshop we have run since 2015.

A proper detail starts with decontamination to lift iron, tar and water minerals, then staged machine correction under inspection lights, never a hard cut over the whole car. Inside, carpets are extracted and leather is cleaned and protected.

Prices are the same wherever you live: the quote depends on the car, not the postcode. Call 1800 985 880 or text 0483 930 888 to book.

Indoors, Under Proper Lights

Every detail is done in our indoor bays, lit for inspection so defects are visible while we work. Polishing outdoors in bright sun hides swirls that show up later. More on what a proper detail changes.

PPF Refresh

For cars already wearing film: the film is washed with DFA Surface Cleaner from Defcon Films Australia, water spots are lifted, edges are checked and the film is resealed so it beads like the week it went on. Between visits, follow our aftercare routine.

Everyday Wear, Fixed

Shopping trolleys, school runs and street parking leave fine scratches and grime that a wash never shifts. A detail takes the car back to a clean, glossy baseline.

Interior Only Bookings

You do not need an exterior package to get the cabin sorted. Full extraction, leather care, odour treatment and optional fabric or leather protection can be booked on their own.

Cut and Polish from $850

Machine polishing starts from $850. We start with the lightest cut that shows a result and work the deeper defects individually, because clear coat is finite and modern cars have less of it than ever.

Our Only Workshop

Everything we do happens here, in ten indoor bays across 1,000 square metres. No mobile vans, no subcontractors, so the people who quote your car detailing are the people who fit it. More about who we are, and if you are comparing shops, our guide to the best car detailing in Melbourne lists what to check.

Planning the Visit

A maintenance detail is usually a day, and correction runs one to three days. From Mitcham it is easy to drop the car on the way to work and collect it on the way home. Saturday mornings are open 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Selling the Car? Detail It First

Buyers price what they see. A corrected, deep cleaned car photographs and negotiates better, and the detail usually costs less than the first price drop a tired car takes. For high value cars, see prestige car detailing.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you book. Anything else, call 1800 985 880.

Do Mitcham customers pay the same price?

No. Every price is the same wherever you live. The quote depends on the car and the work, never the postcode.

Do you offer a mobile service?

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can you detail just the interior?

Yes. Interior only bookings are common, with extraction, leather care and optional protection.

How often should a car be detailed?

A protected, sensibly washed car needs a maintenance detail once or twice a year. Cars parked outside benefit from more.
