Tint in a New Car Package

3M Color Stable is built into Pack 3 and Pack 4 of our new car packages, and both can be upgraded to Ceramic IR or CoolVue. One drop-off covers coating, interior protection and tint.

Usually Same Day

A standard car is dropped in the morning and collected in the afternoon. Keep the windows up for two to three days while the adhesive cures, and expect a light haze in the first week that clears on its own.

Planning the Visit

A standard tint is usually same day. From Truganina, most people bundle work into one visit: tint with a detail, or film with a coating, so the car only makes the trip once. We confirm the timing when you book.

Legal Shades in Victoria

Under Victorian tint laws, front side windows must pass at least 35 percent of visible light. Rear side windows and the rear screen can go darker on most passenger cars. We fit the darkest legal shade by default and tell you if a combination would fail a roadworthy.

Every job is done at our Mitcham workshop. Film, coatings and tint need clean indoor bays and proper lighting, which a driveway cannot give, and that is what our results depend on.

Can you tint a glass roof?

Yes. We tint the roof glass or fit Crystal Shield, a clear film from $350 that cuts heat and guards against stone strikes.

Can you remove old tint?

Yes. Old film and its glue come off, the glass is cleaned, and new tint goes on in the same visit.
